I can offer a three tier service.  Consultations to discuss what you will need to do - just at the outset or at regular intervals if you prefer.  Assistance in obtaining all of the information required and dealing with the application for the Grant, before you continue the estate administration from there, or the full estate administration service from start to finish.  As personal representative, you're in control of the assistance you require.

As a guide, for straightforward Grant applications, where Inheritance Tax is not an issue, fees will be £595 plus VAT and Court fees, fixed by the Court.

​

For more complex Grant applications, where Inheritance Tax issues arise, fees will be £895 plus VAT and Court fees, to reflect the additional work required.

​

To administer an estate, this will be charged at an hourly rate of £120 plus VAT per hour.  As a guide, a full estate administration can take approximately  15-30 hours, depending on its complexity, so fees could be in the region of £1,800 - £3,600 plus VAT and disbursements, such as Court fees.  Once we have more information about the estate and can review the work that may be required, fees can be confirmed at the outset, for added peace of mind.
